What Our Customers Are Saying...
Outstanding Crew -- Windows:Note from editor: while this is a long story, it is a fun one to read. Enjoy! "Dear Tim, We recently had two windows installed by your company. In over 30-years of home ownership, we have had numerous occasions to have work performed in our homes. We have NEVER had a crew in our home that was more courteous, careful, or pleasant to deal with, than the team of Steve and Mark. Our enthusiasm, (and word of mouth advertising) really began over a year ago when we were visited by your salesman Chris. At that time we decided against having the windows installed, presented the product, yet didn't pressure us to buy. Recently, on the very day that we had talked about looking up the old paperwork, to see if we could talk to your company about the job now that we were ready. Chris called us as part of his follow up to previous contacts! The coincidence was too great for us, and we very shortly had him visit, measure, and order our new windows. Our contact with Chris this year was just as pleasant as it was the year before, and we felt really good about selecting your company for the work. Fast forward five or six weeks to the expected delivery date. we were contacted by Steve, who was most pleasant and professional. He indicated that they could come on a particular afternoon, after completing an earlier job. I told him that I thought there was more than one day of work here, because of having a wall built up, dry wall and paneling installed, and siding on the outside in addition to the removal and installation of the windows. Steve assured me that they would finish it the same day, not matter how late they stayed. For whatever reason, perhaps after getting a better understanding of what was expected, Steve called back to ask if they could come earlier in the day instead. On that day they were expected, I got a call from Steve, from his truck to tell me that they would arrive in about a half-hour that they were just then leaving Lansing. I'd never dealt with this kind of courtesy, we've had work crews that have failed to show up or call, for two or three days. After then men arrived, they were neat, polite, and took great care to follow the couple of requests I made. With hardly a pause for a breath they immediately started working. It was very evident to me that they were a real team. One would measure, and call out numbers while the other marked or cut. They obviously felt that they could rely on the other man to do it right. I've done some remodeling myself, and was most interested in watching the installation of these large windows by just two men. When they were ready to place the first one, I left the room for a few minutes, and by the time I returned, they had it in place, and were checking measurements. No problem I thought, but I really want to watch them do the BIG window. They did it so quickly and quietly, that I was in the same room and still missed the show! They completed the job, cleaned the site, and answered every question we had, not in the two or more days that I was expecting, but (including working thru their lunch hour) they finished it in just five hours! My reason for writing you this long narrative is to assure you that your employees are doing an excellent job.I'm sure there are many jobs that you don't get any report from at all unless there is a problem. But from our experience, I would bet that your complaint file is much smaller than your compliment file. We are extremely satisfied with all aspects of your company, the price, the quality, the workmanship of the entire job, but most of all with your people. Take pride in the staff you have gathered, they are a real asset and selling point for people trying to decide on which company to use for an upcoming project. I believe it reflects well on you when you hire and are able to retain this caliber of employee. Thank you for a job well done." Stan and Cheryl W. -- Lansing, MI |
